Ran He received his bachelor's degree (2001) and his master's degree (2004) from the School of Computer Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology (DUT). He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA) in 2009. He is now a full Professor in the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR, CASIA) and University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include algorithms for biometrics, machine learning, and computer vision.

Tao Xie is a Peking University Chair Professor and the Chair of the Department of Software Science and Engineering at Peking University. His research interests include software engineering, system software, and trustworthy AI. He has served as a Foreign Member of Academia Europaea and a Fellow of ACM, IEEE, AAAS, and other institutes. He won the Xplorer Prize and NSFC Overseas Distinguished Young Scholar Award.

Gu Ke is a Professor at Beijing University of Technology and a doctoral supervisor. He has received numerous awards such as the CAAI Artificial Intelligence Excellent Young Scientist Award and the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia Best Paper Award. His research focuses on industrial pollution monitoring, image/video processing, and related fields.
